More and more people in Mexico are deciding to start a business and obtain a better income, which is why more and more startups are being generated with scalability potential, and that are a reference in different productive areas.
However, with the recent disappearance of the National Entrepreneur Institute (Inadem), the ability of this ecosystem to continue generating successful projects is called into question.

It should be noted that between 2014 and 2018, Inadem and the National Entrepreneur Fund (FNE) allocated just over 33 billion pesos (mp) to capital injections for 74 thousand small and medium-sized companies (SMEs).
For this reason, the topic was France Mobile Number List discussed at the Forbes 30 Promises of Business Forum, held in Mexico City on March 5.
For Luis Harvey, founder of Harvey Partners Company, it should be entrepreneurs who assume the responsibility of promoting entrepreneurship.
“ In recent years, we have been observing that the Mexican entrepreneurship ecosystem has had a very positive evolution, with more and more people from the environment interested in the country and its companies,” he explains in an interview. “It is a fact that the disappearance of Inadem does not help this growth to be maintained; However, it seems to me that, eventually, what we will see is entrepreneurs taking the lead.”
This eventual rapprochement between businessmen and entrepreneurs will not, in any way, be a simple measure of corporate social responsibility, but will have a much larger objective, in depth, says Rodrigo Sánchez Servitje, Managing Partner of B37 Ventures.
“Large Mexican companies are going through a serious problem of access to innovation and technology. They have not found the mechanisms to have a constant generation of these two topics, so entrepreneurs represent an opportunity to obtain these values.”
Furthermore, he predicts that little by little companies will put more money into entrepreneurial projects.
And the government?
It is important that in the medium term the government also gets involved in entrepreneurship issues to promote it.
“It is a fact that businessmen will play an important role here; However, we must not forget that, in countries that have managed to establish themselves as centers of entrepreneurship and innovation, such as the United States, there has been government support, betting on startups that are not micro-sized, but do not fall on the radar of the investment funds,” he points out.
Why you should undertake through the collaborative economy
It is also key to work on support models for entrepreneurs from universities, adds Harvey, which can be a first support for companies that are beginning their path. “We must further explore the possibility that universities have increasingly stronger programs on this topic, both acceleration and investment. It is a model that we have seen very little of and that could give us very important things,” said the specialist.
